Ritchie, No. 13 Wis-Green Bay top Butler 74-63

Adrian Ritchie scored 18 points to lead five teammates in double figures and No. 13 Wisconsin-Green Bay earned a trip to the NCAA tournament with a 74-63 victory over Butler in the Horizon League tournament final Sunday. The Phoenix's defense once again led the way early on, holding Butler to 28 percent shooting and forcing 12 first-half turnovers to take a 40-19 lead at the break.

Bauer leads Green Bay into Horizon League final

There would be no surprise early exit this year from the Horizon League tournament for Wisconsin-Green Bay. The No. 13-ranked and top-seeded Phoenix, which lost in the Horizon semifinals at home last season, didn't let history repeat itself and advanced to Sunday afternoon's championship game with a 95-65 win over Wright State on Friday night.

Wisconsin-Green Bay isn't going to make it easy on any team hoping to beat the Phoenix in the Horizon League tournament. Especially at home. Celeste Hoewisch scored 19 of her 23 points in the first half and the No. 13 Phoenix continued their home-court dominance with an 89-41 rout of Loyola of Chicago on Wednesday night.
