Packers NT Howard had long trip to Green Bay
Packers nose tackle Howard Green has finally made it to Green Bay. Green was cut by the New York Jets on Tuesday and began driving that afternoon toward his home near Baton Rouge, La. He stopped only for food and gas, driving for about 20 straight hours. When he was 30 minutes from his house, the Packers called and asked him to join them.
