Rahmon Fletcher scored 19 points to lead Wisconsin-Green Bay to a 74-59 victory over Youngstown State on Saturday. Steve Baker and Seth Evans each helped out with 13 points each for the Phoenix (4-4, 1-1 Horizon). Green Bay led 35-32 at the half, but the Penguins (4-3, 0-2) came back to lead by as many as eight points midway through the second period.

Norris Cole scored 26 points and led Cleveland State past Wisconsin-Green Bay 83-75 Thursday in the conference opener. The Vikings (9-0, 1-0 Horizon League) were 71.4 percent in 3-point shooting, while Wisconsin-Green Bay (3-4, 0-1) shot 38.5 percent. Cole finished with five assists, four rebounds, and made 15 of 16 from the free-throw line.

Danny McElroy and Joe Jakubowski led a balanced Bowling Green attack with 12 points each, and the Falcons cruised to an 81-55 victory over Ohio Dominican Monday night. Scott Thomas, Jordon Crawford and A'uston Calhoun had 11 each for the Falcons (1-1). Ohio Dominican (0-2) committed 23 turnovers to Bowling Green's eight.

Call it unlucky, call it snake-bitten, call it unfortunate. It is what it is, another loss. The Central Michigan football team seemed set to end its five-game losing streak as it led Bowling Green 14-10 with five minutes to play and the ball in its possession Saturday.
