Bowling Green holds off Ball State 65-64
A'uston Calhoun scored 15 points as Bowling Green held on in the final minute to beat Ball State 65-64 on Wednesday night. The Falcons (12-12, 7-3 Mid-American Conference) led 64-56 with 27 seconds left to play before a layup from Malik Perry, a 3-pointer from Tyrae Robinson and a free throw from Jarrod Jones cut the Cardinals' deficit to 65-62 with 6 seconds on the clock.
Wisconsin-Green Bay defeats Valparaiso 63-61
Alec Brown scored 15 points and Wisconsin-Green Bay rallied to beat league-leading Valparaiso 63-61 Sunday. Jarvis Williams and Rahmon Fletcher each added 10 points for the Phoenix (11-10, 5-4 Horizon), who have won five of six and ended the Crusaders' five-game winning streak. Cory Johnson led Valparaiso (15-6, 7-2) with 17 points, Ryan Broekhoff had 15 and Matt Kenney 13.
