Green Auto Insurance
FireMan’s Fund Insurance Company introduces hybrid upgrade auto insurance whose move is expected to enable car owners to go green. This new vehicle replacement coverage is available which would insure full replacement cost of vehicles along total losses for first three years.

Carbon-offset insurance company criticised over ‘misleading’ ad
Green insurance provider Ibuyeco, got into hot water this week when an advertising campaign was labelled misleading. Industry regulator, the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) upheld complaints that that a TV and internet advertising campaign proclaiming that the insurance company could ‘offset 100 per cent’ of its customers’ cars carbon emissions could not be substantiated.
