Pumpkin Pie with Meringue Peaks

Author: image source Ingredients Pie 9 inch pie crust 2 large eggs 15 oz can of pumpkin or 2 cups of fresh cooked pumpkin 1 c. heavy cream ½ c. milk ¼ tsp salt 1 tsp cinnamon 1 tsp ginger ¾ cup dark brown sugar 1/8 tsp ground cloves Meringue 1/3 c. sugar 3 large room temperature egg whites 1/8 tsp cream of tartar Method Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
