Tiger Woods Fart Video Lights Up YouTube

Proving once again that internet memes don’t always rank high on the IQ scale (although they’re invariably entertaining), the most searched-for video on Google today is the “Tiger Woods Fart” clip, which purports to show Tiger Woods breaking wind at the Buick Open 2009. (Others argue that the sound comes from off the green.) It would also be among YouTube ’s most viewed videos…if the PGA hadn’t chosen to remove the most popular version of the clip on grounds of copyright infringement. Per

Tom Watson

He’s a year older than I am and he damned near won the British Open. I was so stunned, I could hardly watch it. I had taped it and somehow hadn’t heard the results, so I found myself on the couch after teaching a writing workshop watching and cheering and moaning and then, as he lead by one shot going into the last hole, sitting in stunned disbelief. Now understand, I used to play professional golf mostly back in the 1970s, and I even had a dream about trying for the Seniors Tour back a decade

Somebody got lucky!!! Justin was nice enough to give Matt his old iPhone! I agreed if he could find a used phone, we’d bump him up to a data plan. Thanks Justin!!! The two of us walked to the grocery store this afternoon to pick up a few things to tide us until our trip on Friday. So glad our sun decided to come out We bought $18 worth of produce and yogurt – bringing us up to $55 for the month. Would have been less if I hadn’t stumbled upon this sale: I’ve slowed waa

Booker T and the Drive-By Truckers @ Bonnaroo 6.13.09

One of the best surprises of the festival was how great Booker T and the Drive-By Truckers sounded. I’m a loose fan of both, but didn’t pick up their new collaborative album Potato Hole and hadn’t heard a thing from it until Bonnaroo. Those songs, the DBT songs and especially Booker T’s songs sounded great. Booker T and the Drive-By Truckers started off with two songs from Potato Hole before switching over to the DBT song “Homefield Advantage.” The crowd went nuts afterward and Booker T, as if t

User Ratings and Reviews

4 Stars good light
it works great – the only drawback is the solar panel is not attached that well since the plastic frame could break if handled rough. otherwise ok. no more battery flashlights for me!

4 Stars Bright light
Purchased this lantern because of the size of the light… had purchased a cheapie from Walgreens for 1/3 the price, but that wasn’t very bright and just a wind-up. So much better to have solar and a large, real bulb. It’s for emergency, but I’ve used it a bit… and keep it charged up.

4 Stars Solid design, rugged appeal
I bought two of these to take to Burning Man, not knowing what to expect, and wow, they were great. They survived two dust storms, rain and were covered with mud by the end, but I brushed them off and they’re still working great. Easy to tote, compact design… the solar panel is adjustable and the fluorescent light output is sincerely potent. The only thing is, with solar in general, that they take quite awhile to power up. Highly recommended… I’m a happy customer.

4 Stars Like-failed with 1st use-fix it
Would have given unit a 5 if it hadn’t failed the first time I used it. I really like this lantern when it works. Note: for the warranty to be active you have to register w/in 30 days of purchase. Missed that little detail. My switch stopped turning the lantern off with 1st use. If you cannot turn it off, it is useless. Took the unit apart and a few metal flakes fell out. Jiggled the switch and reassembled. Working great now. Hopefully the problem is fixed.
