Kolkata houses can be used to harvest solar energy
Written on June 19, 2009 The Times of India reports that the city of Kolkata in India has 600,000 houses and 200 billion square feet of roof space that can be used for harvesting 2,000 megawatts of solar energy, said West Bengal Green Energy Development Corp.
