Capitals’ Mike Green out with new head injury

Adding insult to injury, the Washington Capitals lost defenseman Mike Green in Friday's 6-0 loss to the New York Rangers. Green, the Caps' key offensive defenseman, is listed as day-to-day and didn't return to the ice following a knock to the jaw from Rangers forward Derek Stepan.

Mike Green Caps it off
Mike Green scored a power-play goal 29 seconds into overtime to give the Capitals a 3-2 win against the Philadelphia Flyers last night in Washington. It was Green’s fourth goal of the season.
