Business Digest: FGCU to host Green Seminar on Earth Day

The Small Business Development Center at Florida Gulf Coast University will host a free Green Seminar on April 22 in conjunction with Earth Day.


Tickets remain for Green Leaders event

A limited number of tickets remain for the Free Press' Michigan Green Leaders awards breakfast April 22. The event at the Detroit Yacht Club on Belle Isle will honor 16 individuals, community groups and businesses. Today, April 22, 2009, is Earth Day! I'd like to urge everyone to celebrate Earth Day every day! I try my best to celebrate the Earth by recycling, reusing, and buying recycled products. Here's some simple tips for you to try at home, if you don't already. 1. Use cloth napkins rather than paper 2.
